Apparently the -2C is considered by many sites to be the prototype of the KC-46 Pegasus. Airlinereporter.com says that -2C was the prototype for the KC-46. But, on Wikipedia, it’s written that Boeing “does not have customers for the freighter”, proving that the -2C is a production model. I don’t know which source is correct, or if I am just misinterpreting the information, but if anybody has a clear idea of what has happened with the -2C, please just reply by writing a comment.
