This week, we have seen the aviation industry slightly recover from its recent suffering. The coronavirus period has been hard for many airlines, but as restrictions and measures get lifted, flights will slowly recommence and more and more passengers will start to travel again. Although the current situation is beginning to ameliorate itself in certain countries, there are still many questions to what extent this virus has had on the aviation industry. Will the majority of airlines in the world go bankrupt? Are private airlines disfavoured because they don’t necessarily receive state aid? Will people who are poor still be able to travel at an affordable price? I do believe that we should think positive and move on, but some things will take a bit longer to repair.
