Sky Leasing (an aircraft lessor based in Dublin and San Francisco) has signed a deal with Indigo (an Indian LCC) for the sale of 2 Airbus A321neos and their leaseback. The transaction covers deliveries to Indigo in August 2020. Riyaz Peermohamed, Chief Aircraft Acquisition Officer and CFO at Indigo, has expressed his contentment with the deal: “We are pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with SKY Leasing. This transaction will help us induct this most cost-efficient aircraft as we continue to focus on minimizing cash burn”.
