Aer Lingus Regional has begun its new Manchester-Belfast City service today. The airline will operate 4 daily return flights from Manchester to Belfast, with fares starting from $29.99, taxes included. Last month, Aer Lingus Regional officially opened its base at George Best Belfast City Airport, and is now flying to Birmingham, Edinburgh, Exeter and Manchester from the airport. From Manchester, Aer Lingus Regional was already flying to Dublin and Cork (an Irish city in County Cork, region Munster) at the time of the opening of its Belfast base. It is also to start flights from Belfast to Leeds/Bradford and and East Midlands Airport on the 1st of October. The airline will base 5 out of its 15 ATR-72s at Belfast Airport, to operate the Manchester-Belfast route as well as all other Aer Lingus Regional routes from the airport. 14th of September 2020.
