Airlink to restart 3 routes to Mozambique

South African regional airline Airlink (based at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport) is to restart 3 routes from Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport (in South Africa) to the cities of Pemba, Beira and Vilanculos in Mozambique (a country in southeastern Africa) following the lifting of restrictions that didn’t allow travel between the 2 countries. Airlink also flies to the airports of Chingozi and Nampula in Mozambique from Johannesburg after having terminated flights to Maputo International Aiport (Maputo is Mozambique’s capital). South African Airways flies from Johannesburg to Maputo and is the sole airline (apart from Airlink) to operate flights between Johannesburg and Mozambique. United is to start a service between Johannesburg and New York Newark on the 28th of March next year. 21st of October 2020.
